Steve is a Gulf War veteran who served in the Navy from '86 to '94. Steve started his pest control career in Florida then later relocated to Indiana and co-founded Aardvark. Steve holds his home inspector license in Indiana and, is Licensed by Indiana to teach primary and continuing education to home inspectors. He holds a Pest Control License in Indiana and Michigan, a Termite Inspection and Treatment License, Radon Tester and Mitigator, and certificates with the EPA and various counties for Lead Testing and Renovator. He is blessed with his beautiful wife, two daughters and two grandchildren. In Steve's free time you can find him out bowling, golfing, or hanging out with his family.
DAVE KLIMA
Dave Klima is the co-founder and President of Aardvark Home Inspectors, Inc. Along with his cousin Steve, Dave co-founded Aardvark more than 20 years ago. The business has evolved into a thriving home inspection business that is nationally ranked in the top 1 percent of the home inspection industry. Dave holds licenses and certifications in Pest/Termite Control, Radon Testing, Radon Mitigation, Mold Testing and Mold Remediation Services. He is also licensed through the State of Indiana to give primary and continuing education to Home Inspectors. Dave speaks at National Home Inspector conferences, coaches and mentors Home Inspectors from various parts of the country, and belongs to 11 different MLS Associations. He is also the co-founder of Inpectedhouses.com which was created to help Sellers, Buyers, Real Estate Agents, and Home Inspectors.
JOE MISHAK
Joe Mishak has been a dedicated professional in the home inspection industry since 2001 and is a partner at Aardvark Home Inspectors Inc. Over the past two decades, Joe has personally performed thousands of home inspections across Indiana and Ohio, earning a reputation for his attention to detail, practical knowledge, and dedication to educating both clients and agents.
He holds active home inspector licenses in both Indiana and Ohio and is a certified expert in multiple areas related to residential and commercial property evaluation, including radon testing and mitigation, mold testing and remediation, and lead-based paint testing.
Joe is also a licensed pest control professional, holding both 7A and 7B certifications. His depth of experience in identifying and reporting wood-destroying organisms (WDOs) has made him a trusted source for pest-related concerns during real estate transactions.
In addition to his inspection work, Joe regularly teaches continuing education courses for real estate agents and fellow inspectors and is often invited to speak at national home inspection conferences.
Joe and his wife Danielle have been married since 2004 and have three children: Joe, Makenzie, and Aubrey. A native of Mishawaka, he has lived in Fort Wayne since 2010. In his downtime, he enjoys spending time at the lake, traveling with family, and staying engaged in the home inspection community.
ALLEN GUMBERT
Allen was born in Fort Wayne but raised in El Paso Texas. He loves kayaking, vintage stereo equipment, and working on home projects. He has been happily married since 2011 and loves to travel with his family and friends. Buying a home is one of the biggest decisions a person can make in life. Allen is committed to providing Aardvark customers with the crucial information needed when completing the purchase of their home, with confidence.
ASPEN SQUIRE
Aspen was born and raised in Fort Wayne. He enjoys spending time with friends and family and being outdoors, hunting and fishing.

Brad is a graduate from Concordia University with an Associates degree in Business Communications. He has been in the home inspection business for approx. 3 years and active in construction for over 30 years. He enjoys helping others through one of the most exciting time of their lives, purchasing a home. Prior to being a home inspector, Brad was doing handyman services that included repairing items from roofing to foundation. He has a lot of history working with many different realtors, taking care of their customer needs. Brad takes great pride in representing Aardvark Home Inspections and communicates well in the field.

Christian York, was born and raised in Arizona and has been a resident of the Ft. Wayne area for 20 Yrs. In his spare time he enjoys hanging out at the lake with his wife Kelly and fishing, He also enjoy hunting. He has 2 wonderful kids. Christian has been around the construction industry most of his life in one facet or another. He strives to give his customers an honest review of the properties he is purchasing.

Dan is a Fort Wayne native. Dan has been apart of the Aardvark team for five years. He is a graduate from Elmhurst High School and then went on to get a degree from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. He has been married to his loving wife Rose for over 32 years. He has one son and one grandson that he enjoys spending quality time with. Dan is an avid Hot Rodder having built several cars. In the summer he enjoys time on the water skiing and enjoying time with family and friends. Dan is also very involved with the Mizpah Shrine donating much of his time to helping the kids.

David is a Fort Wayne native with a strong construction background. David was in excavating for 6 years locally, before becoming a home inspector. He has been an Indiana licensed home inspector for four years, and his passion is in inspecting usual homes. David is also an Indiana licensed bartender.

Evan is a lifelong resident of North Liberty and takes great pride in being part of the community he calls home. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active through golf and volleyball, as well as exploring the outdoors on hiking trails. Evan is also an avid music fan who enjoys attending concerts whenever he can. A dedicated sports enthusiast, he especially loves cheering on the Fighting Irish. JEFF KIRKPATRICK
Jeff spent close to 30 years in outside sales positions and, with the blessing of his family, decided to make a career change. Jeff has enjoyed the variety of homes and people he has met in the Fort Wayne area since joining Aardvark. Discovering that no two homes are the same and no two days are ever the same in this business has been a great blessing. When not working, Jeff enjoys time with family, friends, and watching or competing in sports and outdoor activities. Jeff and his beautiful wife, Kristin, have three wonderful daughters and a crazy husky as a family pet.

Jim believes working as a home inspector has given me him the opportunity of meeting new and interesting people. Also with his past and ongoing experience, gives him a chance to help others understand the operations and condition of their new homes and possible unforeseen costly issues. Jim's past experience includes: 40 years of residential and commercial construction, 3 years as a journeyman carpenter with local 413, 28 years self employed as a general contractor designing and building homes, additions, general remodeling, storm, fire and water restorations, specialized in wood foundations and supper insulated homes, owning rental properties and flipping homes.

​Joe grew up in the South Bend area and is the Pest Control Service Manager for Aardvark’s Mishawaka branch. His favorite pastime is watching and rooting for Notre Dame football. He enjoys talking with and helping a wide variety of customers with their pest issues.

has been with the home inspection company since 2020, contributing in various areas of the business. He currently works as a Mold and Radon Remediation Technician. Outside of work, he enjoys working on cars and anything with a motor. In his free time, he loves spending time with his girlfriend and daughter.
JULIA FITZGERALD
Julia Fitzgerald serves as the Marketing Director for Aardvark Home Inspectors, residing in Fort Wayne and extending her services to Grand Rapids and Indianapolis, along with surrounding areas. She is also a licensed radon technician, providing assistance in this field whenever possible. Outside of her professional endeavors, Julia loves spending time with her husband and dog. During her leisure moments, she enjoys in visiting the local farmers market and practicing yoga.
KAREN KLIMA
Karen spent 15 years in the insurance industry before joining the Aardvark team 24 years ago. She currently holds the position of an Operations and Human Resource Manager. She is a mother of two grown and married daughters, and a grandmother to four grandkids. She is now a new dog mom to a stubborn French Bulldog named Luna. Karen has served on several non-for-profits boards. In her free time, you can find her playing with her grandchildren, shopping with her daughters, or reading, preferably on a warm beach.
KENZIE HANTZ
Kenzie is a skilled customer service professional with five years of experience managing a paint department, where she mastered the art of both color selection and customer satisfaction. She has also gained valuable experience working at a title company, expanding her knowledge in the industry. She is now the assistant office manager in our Mishawaka office. Outside of her professional pursuits, Kenzie is a dedicated dog mom to Zuko, her energetic German Shepherd who adds joy and balance to her life.

Kevin has been buying, selling, and renting homes and apartments in the Michiana area for over 20 years. He earned his home inspection license in 2015 and enjoys being in the many different homes throughout Michiana. Kevin feels it rewarding to meet and talk with home buyers and know that his efforts are important to them to help them with their home buying experiences.
LOWELL DELGRANGE
Lowell’s father was a building contractor and he grew up building new homes and doing remodel jobs. He is married with two sons. We love to camp and fall camping is our favorite. Our family all enjoys volunteering at our church.

Madison is the only girl and the youngest of four siblings. In her free time, she often enjoys attending Pharohound shows with friends to support her boyfriend and their group in the metal community. An avid music lover, she also has a passion for artwork, as her tattoos clearly show! Outside of that, she’s usually a homebody who enjoys interior decorating and getting lost in a good book
MARK BALLGE
Mark is a South Bend native, born, raised, and married here. He has twenty years experience in the HVAC business. His previous experience in HVAC has been a great asset for Mark as a home inspector. When Mark is not at work you can find him out for an afternoon ride on his bike or watching a Cubs game.
MATT KIRSCH
Matt has worked as an inspector for Aardvark since 2015. With a background in building trades, customer service, and nine years as a school educator. Matt has the perfect experience blend for a successful inspector. Matt serves as a commercial inspection property manager, trainer for new company inspectors, and a leader of the companies best practices. In his free time Matt stays busy with his parish, wood working, volunteering at the community pool, and playing “taxi” dad for his large family. As well as coaching youth sports.

Ross was born in Detroit, Michigan, and now calls Indianapolis home. He enjoys the best of both worlds, embracing the energy of city life while also appreciating the quiet beauty of the outdoors. When he's not working, you’ll find Ross fishing or skiing with his son, Oliver, creating memories year-round. With a genuine passion for helping others, Ross is dedicated to guiding people through one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives: buying a home. His background as an electrician gave him hands-on experience with the critical systems that keep a house running safely and efficiently. However, his desire to make a greater impact inspired him to become a home inspector. BROCK RITTENHOUSE
Brock is a native of Bluffton Indiana and has a strong background of retail and construction businesses. He owned and operated Rittenhouse Restaurant & Bar and Reception Hall for 30 years. In addition, Brad operated a commercial bakery for five years. He was the owner of Rittenhouse Properties LLC for 20 years. His company helped people remodel their homes. Older buildings were converted to commercial and residential use (in northern Indiana). Brock also buys and sells commercial properties across northern Indiana. He constructed new commercial buildings across northern Indiana; he then leases them. Brock has inspected hundreds of new and old commercial and residential properties in Fort Wayne and surrounding areas. Brock has been a member of the Aardvark team since 2017.

Caitie is a Mishawaka native. She has been with Aardvark Home Inspectors, Inc for two years. Prior to that, she was in customer service for 15 years. Caitie is a proud stepmom to 2 teenagers, and is dog-mom to two pups! Caitie loves spending time at home with her family; but she also really enjoys her job with us! Outside of work, he enjoys staying active through golf and volleyball, as well as exploring the outdoors on hiking trails. Evan is also an avid music fan who enjoys attending concerts whenever he can. A dedicated sports enthusiast, he especially loves cheering on the Fighting Irish. Above all, Evan values quality time with his friends and family, finding balance between his professional life and the activities he enjoys most.
JEFF KIRKPATRICK
​Jeff spent close to 30 years in outside sales positions and, with the blessing of his family, decided to make a career change. Jeff has enjoyed the variety of homes and people he has met in the Fort Wayne area since joining Aardvark. Discovering that no two homes are the same and no two days are ever the same in this business has been a great blessing. When not working, Jeff enjoys time with family, friends, and watching or competing in sports and outdoor activities. Jeff and his beautiful wife, Kristin, have three wonderful daughters and a crazy husky as a family pet.
JEFF RICHEY
Jeff Richey is a home inspector at Aardvark with a passion for helping families make confident decisions about their homes. He’s been married to his wife, Jill, for 22 years and is a proud dad to Clancy (13) and twins Meyer and Collins (9). In his free time, Jeff enjoys spending time with his family and fishing anywhere from Canada to Florida and everywhere in between.
ANNIE RAGUKONIS
​Annie is the Marketing Specialist in our Mishawaka office. She oversees St. Joseph County, including Warsaw, Valparaiso, LaPorte, and parts of Michigan. As an integral part of our development team, Annie’s background in sales allows her to demonstrate her excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Raised in Pennsylvania and South Bend, Annie resides in Granger with her husband and children. When not meeting clients, she is taking long walks with her family and their dog, bike riding, shopping with her girls, and listening to music. She especially enjoys coaching her daughter’s volleyball team and watching her boys play basketball and baseball.
JIM WHITTAKER
Jim believes working as a home inspector has given him the opportunity of meeting new and interesting people. With his past and ongoing experience, he offers to help others understand the operations and condition of their new homes and possible unforeseen costly issues. Jim's past experience includes:
40 years of residential and commercial construction, three years as a journeyman carpenter with local 413, twenty-eight years self-employed as a general contractor- designing and building homes and additions, general remodeling, storm, fire and water restorations, specializing in wood foundations and super insulated homes. Joe owns rental properties and flips older homes.
JOJO MISHAK
has been with the home inspection company since 2020, contributing in various areas of the business. He currently works as a Mold and Radon Remediation Technician. Outside of work, he enjoys working on cars and anything with a motor. In his free time, he loves spending time with his girlfriend and daughter.
JULIA FITZGERALD
Julia Fitzgerald serves as the Marketing Director for Aardvark Home Inspectors. She resides in Fort Wayne and extends her services to Indianapolis, and surrounding areas. She is a licensed radon technician, providing assistance in this field whenever possible. Outside of her professional endeavors, Julia loves spending time with her husband and her dog. During her leisure moments, she enjoys visiting the local farmer's market and practicing yoga.
KAREN KLIMA
Karen spent 15 years in the insurance industry before joining the Aardvark team twenty-four years ago. She currently holds the position of Operations and Human Resource Manager. She is the mother of two grown and married daughters, and a grandmother to four grandkids. She is a new dog mom to a stubborn French Bulldog named Luna. Karen has served on several non-profit boards. In her free time, you may find her playing with her grandchildren, shopping with her daughters, or reading (preferably on a warm beach)!
KEVIN BARNES
Kevin has been buying, selling, and renting homes and apartments in the Michiana area for over twenty years. He earned his home inspection license in 2015. Kevin enjoys being in the many different homes throughout Michiana. He feels it's rewarding to meet and talk with home buyers, knowing that his efforts are important to them - to help them with their home buying experiences.
LOWELL DELGRANGE
Lowell’s father was a building contractor, and he grew up building new homes and doing remodel jobs. He is married with two sons. He loves to camp; Fall camping is their favorite. His entire family enjoys volunteering at their church!
MADISON PACHUTA
Madison is the youngest of four siblings; she is the only girl. In her free time, she often enjoys attending Pharohound shows with friends - to support her boyfriend and their group in the metal community. An avid music lover, she also has a passion for artwork, as her tattoos clearly show! Other than that, she’s usually a homebody who enjoys interior decorating and getting lost in a good book!
MARK BALLGE
Mark is a South Bend native, born, raised, and married there. He has twenty years' experience in the HVAC business. His previous experience in HVAC has proved to be a great asset for Mark as a home inspector. When Mark is not at work, you may find him out for an afternoon ride on his bike... or watching a Cubs game!
MATT KIRSCH
Matt has worked as an inspector for Aardvark since 2015. His background includes building trades, customer service, and nine years as a school educator. Matt has the perfect experience blend for a successful inspector. He serves as a commercial inspection property manager, trainer for new company inspectors, and is a leader of the company's best practices. In his free time Matt stays busy with his parish, wood working, volunteering at the community pool, and playing “taxi” dad for his large family. He also enjoys coaching youth sports.
MAYLEE RIDENOUR
Hi, my name is Maylee. I'm outgoing, but I also love relaxing in bed. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. Originally from Indianapolis, I often go there to visit - to reconnect with loved ones—and, of course, to indulge in some serious shopping!
MIGUEL NAVA
Hey, I'm Miguel! I've been working as a home inspector since 2021. I’m fluent in both English and Spanish, so I can easily connect with a wide range of clients. When I’m not inspecting homes, you’ll usually find me fishing, hiking, or practicing the drums at home.
ROSS HAGAN
Ross was born in Detroit, Michigan, and now calls Indianapolis home. He enjoys the best of both worlds, embracing the energy of city life while also appreciating the quiet beauty of the outdoors. When he's not working, you’ll find Ross fishing or skiing with his son, Oliver, creating memories year-round. With a genuine passion for helping others, Ross is dedicated to guiding people through one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives: buying a home. His background as an electrician gave him hands-on experience with the critical systems that keep a house running safely and efficiently. However, his desire to make a greater impact inspired him to become a home inspector. Today, Ross combines his technical expertise with a customer-first approach to ensure clients feel confident and informed every step of the way.
SCOTT HEATH
Scott is a devoted husband and father of two, born and raised in Muncie, Indiana. He has been an electrician for nearly 30 years. Scott enjoys tackling home improvement projects and vacationing on the beach. He finds fulfillment in his family and the satisfaction of a job well done.
SETH BIKES
Seth was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He graduated from high school in 2021 and joined Aardvark in 2023. Prior to that, Seth gained experience doing lawn care and construction jobs. In his free time, Seth enjoys playing soccer and working on DIY projects.
SHANE EMBERTON
Shane Emberton is a home inspector with Aardvark Home Inspectors. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family and traveling to Florida and Oregon to visit relatives. He also enjoys working on cars and motorcycles, riding his Harley, fishing, shooting, camping, and kayaking. He is an active member of the Leo Masonic Lodge and a proud Shriner, dedicating his time to supporting the Shriner Children’s Hospital. He is also a member of Harvest Ministry Church, where his faith plays an important role in his life and beliefs.
TODD PATTERSON
Todd is married with two kids. He enjoys coaching softball, and spending time with his family when he’s not working. He wears many hats at Aardvark!
